"Many symptoms experienced by individuals may stem from long-term dysregulation of the nervous system due to trauma, often without the person realizing it.Those symptoms can include addictions, hyperactive and hypoactive conditions, chronic pain and illnesses, behavioral and relational issues, as well as mental health related challenges like eating disorders."
I provide a nurturing and secure space for individuals to explore the aspects of themselves that required protection, or were overlooked, while navigating overwhelming life situations.

By recognizing the adaptive behaviors and beliefs that have kept us functioning, I help you reconnect with and experience the underlying sensations/emotions stored in your body.
By using strategies such as numbing, dissociation, or avoidance, we have survived. As we work on our ability to contain the emotions held within our bodies, we start to create movement and transformation, healing happens.

About
Genevieve Bellefleur ISP, SEP
My approach to resolving trauma symptoms consists of psycho somatic modalities - somatic experiencing and integral somatic psychology - in which I integrate parts work ( IFS ), attachment theories and spirituality. Other trainings include: pre and perinatal trauma, developmental stages and attachment, as well as art therapy. I aim at reconciling the inner fragmentation caused by trauma into more wholeness and personal freedom.
SERVICE
I provide both in-person and online sessions, each lasting one hour and priced at $80.
